Mrs. Hattie Flick Daniels, 73, of Saegertown, died Saturday, December 19, 1959, at Spencer Hospital after a long illness. She had been in the hospital eight weeks. She was the widow of Herman W. Daniels, who died in 1945.
Mrs. Daniels was born April 3, 1886, in Woodcock Township, a daughter of Lee Burton and Cornea Braymer Flick. She married Daniels September 6, 1911. She made her home in Richmond Township.
Mrs. Daniels was a member of Blooming Valley Methodist church, a 50-year member of Blooming Valley Grange, a Gold Star Mother, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Eideman of East Mead Township and Mrs. John (Julia) Fuge of Indiana; a son, S. Burton Daniels of Blooming Valley; two brothers, Fred Flick of Woodcock Borough and Harry Flick of Woodcock Township; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
