Hazel Edythe Wise

Hazel Edythe (Coulter) Wise, 85, of Mercer, PA, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024. Hazel was born on July 7, 1939 to Elton and Hazel Coulter. Hazel graduated from Grove City High School.

Hazel was a bright light for her family. She always loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, even carrying pictures of them wherever she went. Hazel loved knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Her yarn collection shows how much she truly enjoyed creating things. Hazel would also enjoy going antiquing or yard sale shopping, especially if she could drag some family along with her.

Hazel is survived by her children Jeffrey (Amy) Baker, Leonard (Karen) Baker, and Barb (Paul) Harsanye. Her grandchildren : Kevin (Roni) Baker, Rose Baker, Leonard Baker Jr., Chad Cyphert, Eric (Kaylin) Harsanye, and Della (Justin) Wise; will all cherish her memory. Hazel also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Georgia, Sophia, Luke, and Javi Baker; Bennett Harsanye; Damien Daly-Baker; Jeremy Laven; Brianna Ryder; Michael and Russell Cyphert; Easton, Kaiden, and Gavin; who will remember her fondly. Hazel is also survived by her trusty canine companion, Goldie, who will forever miss her cherished owner.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bob Wise; his father, Bob Wise; her granddaughter Mandy Baker; and her brothers Gerald and Phillip.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. A memorial service will be held at East Main Presbyterian Church, 120 E. Main Street, Grove City, 16127 on October 5, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
