Hazel Ellen Evans

Hazel Ellen Evans, a resident of United Methodist Nursing Home and Hospital since June 1971, widow of Walter C. Evans, died Saturday, October 17, 1981, after a one-month illness.

She was born in Troy Township, a daughter of Alvah and Charlotte Green Reynolds.  Mr. Evans died in 1964.

She was a member of Titusville United Methodist Church, a member of the church's Delta-Alpha Class, Titusville Women's Club and Acadia Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Titusville.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilson (Evelyn) Headley of Meadville and Mrs. Walter (Betty) Stempin of Oil City and two sons, Richard of Minneapolis and Robert of Oil City.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
