Hazel G. Hills

Hazel G. Hills, 82, of Vernon Township, was dead on arrival at Meadville City Hospital, Sunday, October 21, 1984, after a sudden illness.

She was born at Cleveland February 7, 1902, a daughter of Harry and Levene Steele Barnett.  She married Marshall N. Hills May 1, 1924.  He died November 16, 1980.

She was a member of First Christian Church and its Friendship Class.  She also taught Bible School at the church for many years.

Survivors include three sons, Harold N. Hills of Meadville, Alden E. Hills of Meadville and Marshall Lee Hills of Frankfort, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Douglas and Mrs. Eunice Smock, both of Meadville; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a great-granddaughter.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
