Heidi L. Cooper

Heidi L. Cooper, 25, of Conneaut Lake, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born March 31, 1986 in Erie, a daughter of Jeffrey D. and Kathy L. Buckholz Cooper, Sr.

Heidi was a 2004 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and a 2009 graduate of LaRoche College, Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.  She was employed at NovaCare Physical Therapy, Meadville and was also a substitute teacher in the Conneaut and Crawford Central School Districts.

Heidi was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake.  She enjoyed playing sports and being outdoors where she participated in softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, archery, fishing, hunting and dirt bike riding.

Survivors include her parents, Jeffrey and Kathy Cooper of Conneaut Lake; two brothers, Gregory A. Cooper and his wife Lauren of Reno, NV and Jeffrey D. Cooper, Jr. of Conneaut Lake; her maternal grandfather, Henry Buckholz and Connie McMillen of Greenville; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Daniel Cooper; her maternal grandmother, Stella Buckholz and her paternal grandparents, Gleason and Gail Cooper.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, 145 S. fifth St., Conneaut Lake.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Frailey, Church Pastor officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jeffrey and Kathy Cooper, 10532 Choctaw Path, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
