Helen Ann Leveto

Helen Ann Leveto, 86, of Meadville, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 24, 1925 in Ellwood City, a daughter of James and Mary DeLeonardo Rosello.  She married Chester Leveto November 24, 1944 and he preceded her in death August 4, 1998.

Helen was a graduate of Washington High School, Washington, PA.  A homemaker, she enjoyed her home, family and was an avid bowler and bingo player for many years.  She had a special love and magic touch for growing beautiful flowers.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church, Conneaut Lake.

Survivors include five children, David L. Leveto and his wife Susan of Saegertown, Daniel J. Leveto of Meadville, Chester L. Leveto of North Springfield, Mary Jane Kline of California, and Dennis A. Leveto of Meadville; three sisters, Geraldine Checonsky of Canonsburg, Frances Cimino and her husband Patsy of Washington, PA, and Jeanne McMullen and her husband Andy of Washington, PA; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Doloughty and two brothers, Patsy and Dominic Rosello.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake with a Scripture Prayer service at 6:45 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake with Fr. Steve Anderson as Celebrant.

Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
