Helen M. Vivian-Dangel Guelich, 83, of Saegertown, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Crawford County Care Center following a short illness.
She was born December 6, 1933 in Meadville, a daughter of William P. and Elsie G. Smith Vivian. She married Allen J. Dangel July 4, 1959 and he preceded her in death May 3, 1978. She subsequently married Ward O. Guelich January 17, 1981 and he preceded her in death June 10, 2015.
Helen was a 1952 graduate of Saegertown High School. She retired from Quality Markets in Meadville as front end manager in 1996 following 30 years of service.
Helen was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include seven children, Theresa Turner and her husband David of Saegertown, Patricia Hilton of Saegertown, Andrew Dangel and Laurie Winchel of Saegertown, Edward Dangel and his wife Darlene of Meadville, Michael Guelich of Meadville, Tamara Guelich of Saegertown, and Timothy Guelich of Saegertown; 21 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Vivian and a sister, Betty Prusia.
Calling hours will be Sunday, June 25th from 2 to 5 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with a Prayer Vigil at 4:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville with Fr. Philip Oriole as Celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Agatha Cemetery.
