Helen E. Kitlinger, 85, of Cullum Street, Meadville died Friday, November 2, 2007 at her sister’s residence in Erie.
She was born in Tryonville June 9, 1922 a daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Graves Boyer.
She worked for Talon Inc. for 45 years, retiring in 1987 as an inspector. She was a 1939 graduate of Townville High School and was a member of First Baptist Church, former Sunday school teacher, and a former Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed quilting, crafts and at one time hunted and fished.
Survivors, include: two sisters, Cecile Kelley of Erie and Jeanne Frederick of Jamestown, NY; one brother, Kenneth Boyer of Guys Mills and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great great niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Boyer, Howard Boyer and Waldren Boyer and one sister, Violet Reagle.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
The funeral service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gerald Walton, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Lyona Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to Visiting Nurses Association of Erie County, 1305 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16501.
