Helen Elizabeth Rupp

Helen Elizabeth Rupp, 87, a Meadville native and a former resident of Mt. Lebanon for 25 years, died Tuesday, October 11, 1994, at Wesbury United Methodist Community in Meadville where she was a resident for the past two years.

She was born in Sewickley, September 29, 1907, a daughter of James Speedy and Anna Johnson Johnston.  She married Kenneth L. Rupp, December 12, 1927.  He preceded her in death July 5, 1985.

She was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Mt. Lebanon and had attended First Presbyterian Church in Meadville.

She graduated from Meadville public schools and served as a member of the Meadville Woman's Club and the Meadville Medical Center Aux.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Beverly) Stein of Conneaut Lake, Connie Crytzer of Waldorf, MD and Mrs. James (Linda) LaScola of Meadville; a son, James R. Rupp of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Stuart (Mildred) Ladner of Conneaut Lake; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
