Helen L. Burkholder

Helen L. Burkholder, 84, formerly of Renrock Trailer Park and a patient of Rolling Fields Nursing Home, died there Monday, June 28, 1999 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Kennerdell, November 16, 1914, a daughter of Earl and Grace (Rodgers) Hunt.  She married Jerry E. Burkholder and he preceded her in death September 8, 1982.

She worked at the Academy Theater in ticket sales and previously worked at Talon.  She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, the 55 Plus Club and RSVP.  She also attended Titusville High School.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Marilyn) Yetman of Westerville, OH and Mrs. Ronald (Judith) Smock of Meadville; a sister, Ruth Garnavish of Meadville; fourteen grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Roger E. Burkholder; three brothers, Virgil, Carl and Burton Hunt; a sister, Mabel Applegate and a grandson, Roger William Burkholder.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
