Helen L. Dyer

Helen L. Dyer, 74, of Meadville, died Thursday, June 6, 1985, at City Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born at New London Township, Lancaster County, November 23, 1910, a daughter of William L. and Leta Mae McComsey McHenry.

Dyer was employed by Lukens Steel, Bobbette Shop and American Hardware Store, all of Coatesville.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Coatesville, United Methodist Church of Women of Stone United Methodist Church, Meadville and attended Coatesville Public Schools.  She was a resident of Meadville since 1979.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gene Elizabeth Ann Hammitt of Meadville and one granddaughter.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
