Helen Marie Blanchard

Helen Marie Blanchard, 91, a resident of Wesbury Hillside Home, 535 Williamson Road since 1985, died Wednesday October 29, 2003, at Meadville Medical Center after a short illness

She was born in Troy Twp., Sept. 12, 1912, a daughter of Judson Lee & Cora Helena Ferringer Blanchard.

Educated in the Crawford County School System, she worked as a production worker at Avtex for 35 years retiring in 1977.

She was a 78 year member of First Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include 1 sister, Margaret Barr of Honeybrook, PA, and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Emma Smith, and 1 brother, Dr. D.C. Blanchard.

Calling hours will be Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Chapel of  First Presbyterian Church, 890 Liberty St., Meadville where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Randolph Twp.
