Helen Rickard

Mrs. Helen Rickard, 64, of Meadville, died Monday afternoon, November 1, 1971, at Spencer Hospital where she had been a patient since August 15.

She was born in Venango County, September 29, 1907, a daughter of Lewis N. and Nina Strawbridge.  She married Mr. Rickard July 3, 1928.

Mrs. Rickard had been employed as a clerk for the Jannot Electric Co for 15 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Donald of Sidney, NY and Air Force Capt. Daryl Rickard of Los Angeles; her stepmother, Mrs. Rachel Ribb of Cape Coral, FL; five sisters, Mrs. Florence Howell of Homestead, FL, Mrs. Wilma Garrison and Mrs. Robert (Joan) Culbertson, both of Cape Coral, Mrs. William (Mary) Bunce of Duarte, CA and Mrs. Charles (Frances) Dempsey of Meadville; three brothers, Frank Ribb of Meadville, Bruce Ribb of Baltimore and Lewis Ribb of Titusville and two grandsons.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
