Helen J (Reseigh) See, 77 of Greenville, passed away at home on Friday November 29, 2024. She was born January 6,1947 to Howard and Dorothy (Scott) Reseigh of Stoneboro PA. On June 12,1965 she married Thomas E. See, they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2025. He survives at home.
Helen was a 1965 graduate of Lakeview High School in Stoneboro. She was of the Methodist faith. She was employed at Blazon in Jamestown and then Transfer PA. She then went on to be a school bus driver in 1969 and continued until May 2024, working for Robert Frye's Inc. and Anderson Coach and Travel. She started by taking the kids from Jamestown to the Safeway Roller Rink in Hadley on the weekends. For 55 years she was not only a mom to her own children, but to many other children on her bus. With 55 years of driving a bus, it would often be heard "Mrs. See was my bus driver" and still is heard to this day.
In addition to her job, she also enjoyed baking cookies and making sure especially at Christmas that everyone had a tin of cookies, doing wood crafts and going to many local craft shows first with her friend Marilyn Moore, then with her best friend Sandy Riley.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her three children, daughters, Constance (Jeff) Needels, Hendersonville TN, and Kimberly See, Greenville PA and son Thomas See Jr Greenville PA, two sisters Janet Finch, Shippenville PA, Betty Peterson Greenville PA and brother-in-law Richard See (Mary Jo Bonci) Greenville PA. Also survived by her grandchildren Jessica (Rick) Grace, Sulpher Springs TX, Veronica, Billy and Katie Needels all of Hendersonville TN, great-grandchildren David and Evangeline Grace of Sulpher Springs TX and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law Melvin and Margaret (Rita) See, brother Howard "Skip" Reseigh and Brother-in-law James Finch.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA. The family has chosen to not have services at this time, a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Interment will take place at Hadley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions can be made in Helen's name to Make a Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, 6060 Rockside Woods Blvd N #315, Independence OH 44131 for helping children with cancer grant their wishes or to the Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Cancer Care Fund, C/O The UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation 110 North Main St, Greenville PA 16125, which is used to help local cancer patients.
