Helen Webb

Helen Webb, 94, formerly of Highland Ave., Meadville and a resident of the Crawford County Care Center since June 1996 died there Sunday, January 20, 2002 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Meadville December 20, 1907 a daughter of Curtis C. and Josephine Bates Webb.

She was a 1930 graduate of Allegheny College and a teacher for 25 years in Meadville and Cochranton schools.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors, include several nephews, nieces and cousins, including David Bates and William Bates both of Meadville.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Hart, Mary Josephine Webb and Margaret Campbell and a brother, Arthur Webb.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
