Helena J. Howett

Helena J. Howett, 98, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community and a former resident of the Crawford County Quality Living Center and also a former resident of Guys Mills, died Friday, May 24, 2002 at the Meadville Medical Center.

She was born January 12, 1904 in Meigs County, Ohio a daughter of Albert and Rena Hall King.  She married Everett Howett and he preceded her in death in 1974.

She was a homemaker and a poll worker in Meigs County Ohio for many years.  She enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting and fishing.

Survivors, include a son, Robert R. Howett of Meadville, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a son, Ernal Howett and eight brothers and sisters.

A private service will be held for the family.

Burial will be in Beach Grove Cemetery, Pomeroy, Ohio.
