Helena M. Goodwill

Helena M. Goodwill, 78, widow of Paul C. Goodwill, of Meadville, died at City Hospital, Meadville, Thursday, June 13, 1985, after an extended illness.

She was born at Franklin, April 27, 1907, a daughter of Anthony and Catherine Jensen Sutherland.  She married Paul C. Goodwill, August 14, 1926.  He died January 6, 1979.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Neason Hill Women's Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Patricia D. Swartz, Mrs. Janice G. Reynolds, both of Meadville and Mrs. Karen Jean Piazza of Sharon; three sons, Richard A. Goodwill of Conneaut Lake, Duane A. Goodwill of Sharon and William P. Goodwill of Springfield, VA; a sister, Mrs. Irene Umstead Kennerdell; a brother, Anthony Sutherland of Port Arthur, TX; seventeen grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
