Herman A. Smith

Herman A. Smith, 81, of Meadville, died suddenly Monday, April 15, 1968 at Hamot Hospital, Erie.

Mr. Smith was born in Guys Mills, January 6, 1887, a son of William and Flora Davison Smith.  He was married to the former Winifred Titus, who died previously.

He was owner and operator of Smith's Vaccum Sales and Repair Service, Market Street, a member of United Church of Guys Mills and the Taylor Hose Co.

Surviving are two sons, Gordon and Gerald, both of Erie; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Carpenter of Guys Mills; a brother, Floyd of Meadville and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lyona Cemetery, Richmond Township.
