Herman Hamilton Karlskind, 77, of Wadsworth, NV, died Wednesday, September 3, 1958, at Memorial Hospital, Reno, NV, following a short illness.
A gold miner at Olinghouse, NV, near Reno, for 28 years, Karlskind was born in East Mead Township, August 14, 1881, a son of Ernest and Adella R. Hamilton Karlskind.
He had taught school in the Meadville area and worked for the Packard Motor Co. at various locations before moving west.
He attended Allegheny College and was graduate from Edinboro State Teachers College.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ada Coon of Meadville and Mrs. Malcolm Palmer of Salamanca, NY and a brother, Edward E. of St. Petersburg, FL.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
