Homer E. Peterson, 75, of Meadville, died Tuesday, June 3, 1986, at his home following a three and one-half year illness.
Mr. Peterson was born in Simmons, OH, October 10, 1910, a son of Floyd and Florence Sperry Peterson. He married Esther Sheriff March 12, 1943. She survives.
He was employed for several years as a coal truck driver with Lawrence Oakes, Cooperstown. He previously was a self-employed for 23 year as a milk hauler, affiliated with Meadow Gold Dairy, Sandy Lake. He was a former member of Mt. Hope Grange.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter, Mrs. Ellen Marie Rohleder of Cochranton; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Florence) Young of Guys Mills and Mrs. James (Nellie) Callahan of Meadville; two brothers, Floyd B. Peterson of Union City and Ted Peterson of Yucaipa, CA; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Gola Rappana.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
