Homer F. Monnin

Homer F. Monnin, 85, of Meadville, died at United Methodist Home and Nursing Hospital Saturday, September 8, 1984, following a six-week illness.

He was born at Frenchtown July 11, 1899, a son of Frank and Lottie Williams Monnin.  He married Mary Jones June 5, 1926.  She died January 24, 1982.

He retired in 1964 from the former FMC Corp's engineering department.  He had worked at the company for 25 years.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Ceora Pierce of Meadville and Elda Kuhn of Geneva, OH; a brother, Alton Monnin of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
