Homer W. Fry, 64, of Townville, died at City Hospital Thursday, March 23, 1978, after an illness of several months. He had lived in the Townville area for eight years.
Born at Waynesburg, February 13, 1914, he was a son of Frank O. and Virtue Wllen Dunson Fry. He married Anna Marie Wiedwald on April 22, 1950. Fry was employed as a regional sanitary engineer by the Department of Environmental Resources for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Chemical Engineering and was a member of the Sharon Community Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis, the Crawford County Shrine Club, Zem Zem Shrine Temple and Masonic Lodge 674 of Coraopolis.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. (Jacqueline) Garland of Herndon, VA; two sisters, Helen Berger of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) Bagley of Ft. Meyers, FL; and a brother, Frank O. Fry of Pittsburgh.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Sunset View Memorial Park.
