Howard H. Graham, 63, of Randolph Township, operator of the Graham Nursing Home, died Saturday morning at his home on the Townville Road, near Guys Mills. He had been ill about six months.
He spent his early life in Clearfield County and following a short time spent at Dunkirk, NY, moved to the Guys Mills community.
Graham was affiliated with the Church of Christ, which held services each Sunday at the nursing home and also conducted Bible classes during the week.
Before establishing the nursing home, he was employed for eight years as a nurse at the Smith Institute, Saegertown. He served in the Army during World War I and spent most of his time at Camp Lee, VA.
Survivors include his widow, May Luzier Graham; a son, Howard George of Meadville; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph E. Hanson of Guys Mills; five grandchildren; three brothers, William, Lewis and Thomas, all of Clearfield.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
