Howard Milton Crow

Howard Milton Crow, 56, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie from heart surgery complications.

He was born December 27, 1957 in Buffalo, NY a son of Horace Crow and Mary Ellen Lenhart Carpenter.  He married Beth Berggren May 16, 1986 and she survives.

He served in the US Navy from 1980-1984 and worked and volunteered at the Salvation Army.  He also had been an Advertising Representative at Cool 101.7 Radio.  He was a member of New Beginnings Church of God.  He enjoyed electronics, had a creative mind, enjoyed thinking about inventions and tinkering with most anything.  He was a devoted husband and father.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Beth of 28 years, include: four children, Harrison Michael Crow and his wife Kasandra of Montgomery, AL, Hayden Marshall Crow, Hayley Marie Crow and Maverick Evan Crow all of Meadville; two grandchildren, Noah Crow and Amelia Crow; his father, Horace Crow of Mena, AR; six sisters, Theresa Wykoff and her husband R. Douglas of Meadville, Kathy Connor and her husband Rob of Colorado, Melissa Crow and her fiancé Paul Bass of Dallas, TX, Christy Miller and her husband Johnny of Dallas, TX, Diane Fernandez of Seminole, FL and Rene Crow of Florida; three brothers, Jay Crow and his wife Kim of Lititz, PA, Jeff Crow of Dallas, TX and Ray Fernandez of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Calling hour will be Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.  The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Temple Jarrell of New Beginnings Church of God, officiating with military honors provided by VFW Post #2006.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
