Howard N. McNamara, 82, of Charleston, NC, died suddenly at home Friday, March 28, 1969.
He was born in Meadville, November 7, 1886, a son of Albert and Louise Mead McNamara. He was married to the former Bertha L. Finster, who survives.
Mr. McNamara served for the past 10 years as sales representative for International Correspondence School, and was a retired manager of the bread division of National Buscuit Co., Charleston.
He was an Army veteran of World War I, and a member of St. Andrew's Masonic Lodge, Charleston and Ashley River Baptist Church, Charleston.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, are a sister, Mrs. Stanley (Malvena) Wasson of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Wayland Cemetery.
