Ianthe (Lang) Boyd

Mrs. Ianthe Lang Boyd, 97, widow of Dr. Martin Van Buren Boyd, died Tuesday, March 22, 1983, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Laderer, where she had lived for the past several years.

She was born in Meadville, November 14, 1885, a daughter of George and Catherine Ross Lang.  Her husband died October 27, 1975.

She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, George; four daughters, Ianthe Henkles, Catherine Boyd, Phyllis Laderer and Marylyn Trace; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Martine Van Buren Boyd and Martin Van Buren Boyd, Jr.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
