Ida E. Braymer

January 26, 1853 — June 28, 1949

Mrs. Ida E. Braymer, 96, of Meadville, died at her home June 28, 1949 after a brief illness.

She was the widow of Whitney Braymer, who was mayor of Meadville from 1895 to 1898 and Crawford County Commissioner from 1900 to 1908.

Born at LeRoy, NY, the daughter of Robert and Susan Amanda Newton Teasdale, she came to Crawford County when she was 12 years old and lived all the rest of her life in this community.

She was a life long member of the Methodist Church and a charter member of Alethea Lodge, Daughters of Rebekah.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. H. M. Brown of Seattle, WA; three granddaughters, Mrs. Harriett Brown, Miss Eleanor Steele and Mrs. G.W.N. Riddle; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
