Ida M. (Klinginsmith) Foust Seiple

Ida M. Foust Seiple, 82, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born April 13, 1935 in Atlantic a daughter of Holly E. and Jennie M. Hood Klinginsmith.  She married Thomas E. Seiple September 7, 1991 and he survives.

Ida was a 1954 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  She was involved in the establishment of Viking Tool, Conneaut Lake.  She subsequently assisted her husband, Tom, in visitation ministry.

Ida was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake and a former Elder.

She was a member of the Meadville Medical Center Auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution, Meadville Women’s Club and Order of Eastern Star (the former Diamond Chapter, Linesville).  She formerly enjoyed ceramics and camping.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Tom, include:  two daughters, Faith Ann Smith of Conneaut Lake and Ava Barba and her husband Frank of Meadville; a step-daughter, Carol Gales and her husband Donald of Greenville; five grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Garrett, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Adam; two step-grandchildren, Amy and Megan; six great grandchildren, Jenna, Jacob, Logan, Jordan, Alexander and Matthew; five step great grandchildren, Evin, Ryan, Sean, Addie and Lyla; a brother, John Klinginsmith of Meadville; a sister, Dorthy Flynn of Oregon and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Mearl, Donald, Karl, Lloyd and Norman Klinginsmith and a step-daughter, Karen Lorent.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 30th from 4-7 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, 145 S. Fifth Street, Conneaut Lake with the Rev. Sam Heagy, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
