Ida May Jobe, 71, of Meadville, died at City Hospital, Monday, June 3, 1985, after a brief illness.
She was born at Oakdale, Allegheny County, January 3, 1914, a daughter of Herman and Adaline Higgans Dinkledein. She married Willard R. Sheriff, and subsequently married Clifford Jobe, who died January 19, 1973.
She was a retired nurses aide from Meadville City Hospital, and prior to that, worked at Talon, Inc. for more than 20 years.
She was a member of First Christian Church, and served as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include three sons, Herman Sheriff of Saegertown, Wayne Jobe of Meadville and Lynn Jobe of Saegertown; five sisters, Cecelia Dinkledein of Meadville, Alice Rubert of Las Vegas, NV, June Kenworthy of Portland, OR, Merry Jo Cole of Hartstown and Martha Baker of Venango; a brother, John Dinkkledein of AZ; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Blair Cemetery, Woodcock Township.
