Inda A. Horth

Inda A. Horth, 96, a resident of the Hillside Home since 1978, formerly of Franklin, died Monday, May 9, 1988, at the nursing home following a period of failing health.

Miss Horth was born in Meadville, February 7, 1892, a daughter of Albert J. and Lydia Stebbins Horth.

She was a retired educator having served in teaching and administrative positions with Nyack College, Nyack, NY, Tocoa College, Tocoa Falls, GA; and other institutions.  She also had been employed as a social work in New York City.  She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Franklin.  She was a graduate of the former Meadville High School and Allegheny College.  She also had done post graduate work at Pennsylvania State University, University Park and Columbia University, New York City.

Survivors include one brother, Homer Horth of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
