Irene Denny Breed

Mrs. Irene Denny Breed, of Meadville, died at Lockport Memorial Hospital, Lockport, NY, Tuesday, July 14, 1964.  Mrs. Breed had gone to Lockport in March to visit her daughter and son-in-law, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Orvis.

A lifelong resident of Meadville, she was a daughter of Walter B. and Mary Davis Denny, a pioneer Crawford County family.  Her father was a Meadville merchant and a vestryman at Christ Episcopal Church of which Mrs. Breed was a lifelong member.  She had been active in Republican Party affairs.

She is survived by her daughter and by a brother, R. B. Denny of Charlotte, NC.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
