Irven L. Buttray

Irven L. Buttray, age 60, of Sandy Lake, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on July 4, 1962 in Meadville, PA to Irven P. Buttray and Mary Margaret (Law) Stevenson.

Irven was a graduate of Lakeview High School and served in the United States Army.

On August 9, 1986 Irven married the love of his life, Regina Seger.

He was a member of the Cockshutt Tractor Club; and thoroughly enjoyed collecting tractors, hunting, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Regina (Seger) Buttray of Sandy Lake; his daughters, Amanda Buttray-Hoovler and her spouse Ken Hoovler of Conneautville, Sam Buttray and fiancé Cory Shafer of Conneautville, and Margaret Buttray of Greenville; four grandchildren, Corran Hoovler, Ariana Hoovler, Jacob Shaffer, and Lincoln Shafer; his mother, Mary Margaret (Law) Stevenson; his brothers, Duane Buttray and Shawn Buttray; and his sister, Lorrie Lindsey.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Per the family’s wishes there will be no public services.

Arrangements are under the care of Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Stoneboro and Sandy Lake.
