Isaiah Rickard

Isaiah Rickard, 81, of Darlington, a retired electrician, died Tuesday, June 15, 1993, at Feltrops Nursing Home, Beaver County.

He was born in Randolph Township, Crawford County, August 29, 1911, a son of Isaiah B. M. and Nannie Daniels Rickards.  He married Anita Polise in 1939.  She died February 9, 1977.

He was a retired electrician from Local 712, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  He was a local baseball umpire for many years and was an avid bowler.

Survivors are one son, Leonard Rickard of Darlington; four granddaughters, six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Bidwell and two brothers, Gilbert and Geoffrey Rickard.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
