Mrs. Iva E. Baird, 67, wife of Homer H. Baird, Franklin Pike, died Sunday, November 27, 1955 at City Hospital following several months illness.
She was born January 25, 1888, a daughter of William A. and Della Fairbanks Cutshall. She spent the early part of her life in Guys Mills area, moving to the Franklin Pike area in 1918. She was a member of the Cochranton Grange.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. C. A. MacLeod; two sons, Ralph C. Smock and Lloyd K. Smock, all of Meadville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ward Applegate of Guys Mills, Mrs. David Wedlock of Union City and Mrs. Lawrence Wheeler of Cochranton; three brothers, Earl, Stanley and Elwood Cutshall; a half-brother, Archie Cutshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
