Ivan H. Myers

Ivan H. Myers, 88, of Saegertown, died Saturday, November 18, 1995 at the Crawford County Care Center following a brief illness.

He was born September 13, 1907, in Titusville, PA, a son of the late John J. and Cynthia G. (Frost) Myers.  He married Dorothy Irene Sterns, March 27, 1928.  She preceded him in death in 1933.  He subsequently married Lillian Francis Baylie, January 17, 1940.  She preceded him in death, February 20, 1995.

He retired in 1972 from FMC Corp. as a maintenance worker after 25 years service.  He had also worked for the Erie Railroad and was a part-time farmer in Woodcock Township.  He was a member of the Mennonite Church.

Survivors include seven sons, Herman F. Myers of Wooster, OH, Robert H. Myers of Springfield, OH, John A. Myers of Pantago, NC, Arthur I. Myers of Cambridge Springs, Walter H. Myers of Saegertown, Daniel M. Myers of Cambridge Springs and Kenneth L. Myers of Saegertown; twenty-nine grandchildren and forty-nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Kuipper and Luceina Bromley; six brothers, Harry, Mendal, William, Robert, Herman and Lyle Myers; and an infant daughter, Dorothy Myers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Sunnyside Mennonite Church Cemetery.
