J. Marshall Jackson, 78, formerly a resident of Meadville, died at his home in Hagertown, MD, Sunday, February 11, 1962.
He was born at Harlansburg October 25, 1883, a son of Homer and Alice Cross Jackson. He was married August 24, 1916, to the former Margaret Ann Bowman who died December 31, 1947.
He was employed by the Erie Railroad for more than 50 years.
Mr. Jackson was a member of the Meadville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
He is survived by a son, the Rev. Homer Jackson of Hagerstown; two brothers, Levis of Stoneboro and Charles of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
