Jack D. Scott

Jack D. Scott, 83, of Conneaut Lake (Vernon Township), passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born October 3, 1938 in Meadville, a son of Homer and Minnie McCoy Scott.  He married Joanne Pegano April 22, 1972.

Jack worked at Meadville Malleable, Amcast and Advanced Cast Products for over 40 years.  He also was a dairy farmer.  Jack enjoyed fishing, playing solitaire, and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Joanne, include a son, Steven Scott (Amy Weisgerber) of Munhall; a daughter, Heather Baker (Christopher) of Conneaut Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and twelve brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 24th from 5-7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, enjoy some frozen custard at Hanks in memory of Jack.
