Jack H. Lingo, 76, of Guys Mills, died Wednesday, December 3, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center following a three-year illness.
He was born in Townville, December 22, 1909, a son of Newton J. and Susan Hamman Lingo. He married Florence Hoyt October 29, 1938. She survives.
Mr. Lingo had retired from his work at Kebort Construction Co., where he had worked as a cement truck driver for more than 20 years. He was a member of United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills. He was also a 50-year member of Company 26, the Crawford and Erie County State Police and was a member of Randolph Grange.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Charles J. Lingo of Meadville, Donald P. and William P. Lingo, both of Guys Mills; a sister, Mrs. Nola L. Stolz of Tolar, TX; a brother, Park Lingo of Meadville; two nieces and three grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Wayland Cemetery.
