James H. Fry

James H. Fry, 58, of Meadville, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Geneva, November 9, 1939, a son of the late Vernon and Roberta June Neff Fry.  He married Jeanette Davenport July 9, 1989.  She survives.

He most recently had been working at Hoss's Restaurant and previously had worked at McDonald's and the former Lamplighter restaurants.  He attended the Barton Road United Brethren Church.

Survivors in addition to his wife, include a step-mother, Betty Fry of Jamestown; four sisters, Linda Dutcher of Guys Mills, Juldy Winkle of Meadville, Mary Lou Frantz of Meadville and Joyce Reisinger of Conneautville; three brothers, Dave Fry of Linesville, Paul Fry of Conneautville and Daniel Fry of Espyville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Daisy Daniels, Ruth Fry and Carol Moats and one brother, Merl Fry.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
