James H. "Jim" Armour

James H. “Jim” Armour, 74 of Fredonia, passed away on August 16, 2019. Jim was born in New Castle on November 24, 1944 to the late James W. and Grace M. Baker Armour. Jim worked for many years at Sharon Steel. Jim married his beloved wife Regina Rose Redfoot on June 11, 1963, she preceded him in death on January 2, 1998. Jim was a simple man who enjoyed cutting his grass and playing cards. He was a member of Emmanuel Christian Church. He loved his family and will be dearly missed. Jim is survived by his children, Steven Armour and wife Andrea of Fredonia, and Malissa Ruiz and husband Rod of Ardmore, AL, grandchildren Kyle Armour and wife Stephanie of Stoneboro, Karissa Armour of Jackson Center, Kurt Armour of Fredonia, Alexa Ruiz of Orlando, FL, and Jenny Carroll of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of STONEBORO, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 4-7 pm on Thursday, August 22. A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home at 7 pm with the Pastor Tim Clark, Pastor of Emmanuel Christian Church, officiating.
