James Larry Bertschy

James Larry Bertschy, 15-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence T. Bertschy of Meadville, died at City Hospital on Saturday, August 9, 1947, after his unconscious body was found on a lane leading to his home, apparently a victim of an auto accident.  It is unknown how the baby was fatality injured.

Besides the parents, the baby's survivors include two sisters, Bonnie Alice (age 4) and Carol Sue (age 3); a brother, John (age 6); a half brother, Harold Steinberg (age 17); and two half-sisters, Eleanor Steinberg and Mrs. Lavina Rung; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bertschy; and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Brobeck.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
