James M. Beers

James M. Beers, 89, died Saturday, March 9, 1957 at the Smith Institute following a long illness.

A son of Henry and Emaline Smith Beers, he spent his early life in Blooming Valley and later resided in Richmond Township and in Meadville.

Surviving are two sons, James, Jr. of Guys Mills, and Carl of Niagara Falls, NY; two daughters, Mrs. Bryon Mackay of Grand Haven, MI and Mrs. Theodore Fleming of Cleveland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, William of West Springfield; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Elmer Kightlinger of Guys Mills.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
