James M. Onderko

James M. Onderko, 70, of Meadville and formerly of Conneaut Lake and Montana, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born September 6, 1950 in Meadville, a son of James and Lillian Hool Onderko.

Jim was a graduate of Linesville High School and served in the U.S. Army.  He worked in construction.

Jim was a member of the Montana Bowhunters Association.  He enjoyed teaching kids with disabilities to shoot bow and he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Daija Ritchey of Conneaut Lake and Brianna Lasich (Justin) of Montville, OH; his mother, Lillian Onderko of Conneautville; six grandchildren, Jayden, Zachary, Isabella, Everly, Isaiah, and Scarlett; two brothers, Carl Onderko (Jackie) of Meadville and William Onderko (Darla) of Conneautville; two sisters, Carol Brown (Raymond) of Conneautville and Melinda Sekerski (Ryan) of Cochranton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
