James Richard Rupp

James Richard Rupp, 71, of Saegertown, PA, died Saturday, August 5, 2000 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Meadville, June 13, 1929, a son of Kenneth L. and Helen E. Johnston Rupp.

He served in the US Army and lived most of his adult life in Florida before returning to Meadville in the late 1980's.  He was an avid antique collector and small dealer.  He enjoyed going to auctions and he was of the protestant faith.

Survivors, include three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Beverly) Stein of Conneaut Lake, Mrs. Constance Crytzer of Waldorf, MD and Mrs. James (Linda) LaScola of Meadville; an aunt and uncle, five nieces and two nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
