James Perry Robbins, of Meadville, died Saturday, September 17, 1960, at City Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born at Elizabeth, Allegheny County, a son of Capt. Joseph H. and Grace Anna Fields Robbins. He married the former Lucile A. Muir.
He moved to the Meadville area in 1919 and had lived here since.
Mr. Robbins was employed by the Erie Railroad for 33 years as a pipefitter.
He was a member of the Erie Railroad Veterans Assn.; the Benefit Assn. of Railway Employees and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors include his widow; three sisters, Miss Frances Robbins of Meadville, Mrs. Priscilla Hotchkiss of Conneaut, OH and Mrs. Ford (Nancy) Bailey of Randolph Township; one niece and three nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
