James W. Longberry, 67, well known Randolph Township farmer, died last night at his home after a long period of ill health.
Removing to the Guys Mills vicinity 22 years ago, after having previously been employed at the Republic Steel Corporation plant at Warren, OH, Mr. Longberry was respected by all who knew him. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Townville.
His widow, Emma Sivey Longberry survives him along with six daughters, Mrs. Glenn Hoagland of Newton Falls, OH, Mrs. Nicholas Speerstra of Leavittsburg, OH, Mrs. Lawrence Williams of Cambridge Springs, Mrs. Kenneth Strause of Lakeside, OH, Mrs. Walter Jones of Spartansburg and Miss Lucille Longberry at home; two sons, Rev. H. Hilton Longberry of Youngstown, OH and Hershel Longberry of Townville; twenty-four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two brothers, George of Cortland, OH and Williams of Bellefontaine, OH.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery.
