Janet E. (Jan) Bidwell

Janet E. (Jan) Bidwell, 74, of Meadville, passed away peacefully May 18, 2020 after a brief illness with her husband and son by her side.

She was born January 16, 1946 in Florida and adopted by Earl and Alice Ellis of Saegertown where she attended and graduated from Saegertown High School.  She married Gary L. Bidwell August 9, 1982.

Jan was employed at Talon, American Viscose, Cochranton Veterinary Hospital and was the bar manager at the Holiday Inn for many years.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Gary, include a son, Duane Marvin (Julie); a stepson, Gary (Toby) Bidwell, Jr.; three step-daughters, Sheila Rankin, Melonie Courson (David), and Christine Bidwell; four grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, Alexander and David Marvin; step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and her beloved dogs Libby and Lexie.

In addition to her adopted parents; she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Harold Hershelman and a brother, Lloyd (Duffy) Betts.

There are no services.
