Janet L. Thomas

Janet L. Thomas, 71, of Atlantic, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at White-Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville.

She was born February 6, 1943 in Lowell, MA, a daughter of Raymond and Beatrice Engals Corkum.  She married William H. Thomas April 30, 1960 and he survives.

Janet was employed at Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Burbank, CA for 17 years.  She enjoyed knitting and making stained glass windows.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband William of 54 years, include two sons, William Thomas, Jr. and his wife Sonam of Conneaut Lake and Barry Thomas of Simi Valley, CA; three grandchildren, Robert, Carson, and Scott; a sister, Barbara Gagnon and her husband Fred of Pelham, NH; two brothers, Roger Corkum and his wife Terry of Tyngsborough, MA and Raymond Corkum of Florida; and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dave Brumagin, Meadville Medical Center Chaplain, officiating.

Interment will be in Adsit Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
