Janet Lee Paris

September 14, 1935 — October 30, 2005

Janet Lee Paris, 70, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at UPMC Horizon, Greenville following a 12-year courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Pittsburgh September 14, 1935, a daughter of the late Harold and Leona Jacob Sloan.  She married William J. Paris February 21, 1959.

She was a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School, Pittsburgh.  She graduated from Real Estate School in Pittsburgh for 10 years as a licensed Real Estate Agent.  She subsequently worked as a secretary for 17 years at Cutter's Wholesale Co., Meadville.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church.

A very dedicated and devoted family woman, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed golfing, walking, biking and dancing.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 46 years, include a son, Billy Paris (Gina) of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Jami Jo Morinville (Joseph) of Robinson Township and five grandchildren, Brady, Charlie and Riley Paris and C. J. and Paris Morinville.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Art Sloan.

Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
