Janice Evelyn Cutshall, 63, of Meadville, died Saturday, May 24, 1997 at Meadville Health and Rehabilitation Center following a short illness.
She was born June 14, 1933 in Wayne Township, a daughter of the late Celyn and Amy Custed Warp. She married Richard Neil Cutshall August 14, 1954. He survives.
Mrs. Cutshall was a 1951 graduate of Randolph High School and had been employed as a secretary at Westinghouse, Meadville and then Syracuse University. She was a homemaker while raising her sons and then returned to work at Allegheny College, retiring in 1989. She was active as an adult leader in the Cub Scouts of America, where she touched the lives of numerous boys. She was an active volunteer with the Meadville Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a member of the Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and past Watchman of Shepherds of the Trinity White Shrine.
She was a member of Christ Church, Episcopal and will be missed by all who know her as she was an inspiration to everyone.
Survivors in addition to her husband, include two sons, Richard Neil Cutshall, Jr. (Ellen) of Philadelphia and Scott James Cutshall (Lesli) of Jersey City, NJ; one sister, Mrs. Frank (June) Woolstrum of Cooperstown; one brother, George Warp of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
